Escaflowne - The Movie
Kanzaki Hitomi is tired of life. Depressed and despondent, she wishes that she could just fade away, to make the pain of living stop hurting. Her pain resonates with another on the world of Gaea, and when her wish is granted, she finds herself in a strange land.
She is greeted as the Wing Goddess, who possess the power to summon the legendary Escaflowne. Hitomi's fate is intertwined with the brash young warrior king Van Fanel, who also feels that life has lost its meaning. Sworn to strike back at the Black Dragon Clan which destroyed his kingdom, he fights to exist, and he exists to fight. The arrival of the Wing Goddess marks the final turning point in Van's battle, as she holds the entire world's destiny in her heart. By summoning Escaflowne, the Wing Goddess will choose the path of Gaea's future. But is her heart's desire salvation... or destruction?

Shiraishi on the other hand quit soccer because he lost his temper and got into a fight that ended up disqualifying their team. In the end, he joins the Kakegawa High School soccer club because he loves soccer and playing in the golden trio.

Princess Resurrection
Hiyorimi Hiro has just moved to the city to meet his sister. Since their parents died, he and his sister Sawawa have lived apart. Now, Sawawa has gotten a new job as the caretaker of a creepy old mansion, and has sent Hiro a letter asking him to come and stay there with her. While walking down the street, he saves a young woman clad in Gothic clothes from being crushed by construction beams, but ends up losing his own life in the process.
The girl then resurrects him, leaving him alive in the hospital morgue. He wakes up confused over what happened, only to encounter the woman again as she eliminates some wolf creatures. She addresses Hiro as her servant and introduces herself as Hime (Japanese for "Princess") and explains that she is a member of the royal family of the Monster Realm.All members of the royal family are endowed with the power to turn a dead body into an immortal warrior, who will serve and protect them, and become semi-immortal. Hiro is now Hime's immortal warrior, but she herself is not immortal yet, which is why she needs help from warriors. The story then follows Hiro as he assists Hime in killing creatures that have been sent by her siblings to attack her in the competition for theMonster Kingdom's throne.

In the year 2010 AD hyper hurricanes devastated large parts of the Earth, with a death toll of over five billion humans. The well-established global economy and powerful military organizations were wiped out. North America, Russia, and Northern Europe are now covered by glaciers; large land masses sank in the oceans — the world's topography dramatically changed, with humanity on the brink of extinction, and civilization in utter chaos.
The Japanese government created special economic areas which have achieved a limited degree of recovery after the disaster. Powered Assist Technology, which had long been under study, played an important role there restoration efforts. However, outside of these economic zones, in the surrounding slums, there is widespread poverty. The ruling class calls themselves Logos and maintains its position by force of arms, making full use of the Powered Assist Technology in their military. They call the poor Revenus, who are exiled to live outside the special economic areas.Time has passed since then. Katsuragi Jou and Tsurasawa Jin, escape from Phantom — a special unit created by Logos to keep the Revenus in check, and to hunt down renegade elements — taking with them a mysterious girl, Nobuto Sana. There are many factions interested in her, and so Jou and Jin face continued opposition protecting Sana, and the unspeakable secret connected to her past.
